Official: Matilda the Musical to open on Broadway in early 2013. :)
ABC Family has given the greenlight to the new drama series BUNHEADS, it was announced today by Michael Riley, president, ABC Family.
Executive-produced by Amy Sherman-Palladino (“Gilmore Girls”) Bunheads stars Sutton Foster as Michelle, a Las Vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man and moves to his sleepy coastal town, and takes an uneasy role at her new mother-in-law’s dance school.

I believe this is when Les Miserables surpassed A Chorus Line to become the then-second-longest running Broadway show.

This was filmed before the show hit the West End and sans audience (hence the lack of applause) — includes Robert Madge! I assume he outgrew the role which is such a shame as he’s mad talented.
